Diane Pleuss brings over 25 years of business experience to her position as a consultant with FranChoice. She has spent the last ten years working with a variety of different franchise concepts, from handyman services to take-out food services to packaging and shipping.
With the introduction of the handyman services concept to California, Diane helped over a dozen new franchisees get off to a fast start with a targeted marketing program. She also assisted over 70 new franchisees with opening a new or a resale packaging and shipping facility. Diane was the marketing director for this international franchise company, taught franchisees the marketing component of training, and provided operations support. She was recognized for her “deep appreciation and understanding of franchisees.” From this experience, Diane understands how difficult it can be to make the transition to franchise business ownership, yet how rewarding and fulfilling it is, too.
Diane has always enjoyed helping people attain their goals. When she was the sales manager of a top-rated radio station, she had the opportunity to work directly with many business owners and advertising agencies. She not only advised them on their media buys, but always provided something extra, such as additional research or creative new ideas. During her more than dozen years in media, she was the president of two different advertising organizations: the Green Bay, WI Advertising Federation and AdMark: The San Francisco East Bay Advertising and Marketing Association. She was also awarded their highest honor: the Silver Medal Award. This was “in recognition her contributions to advertising and furthering the industry’s standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern.”
With an undergraduate degree in communications and an MBA with a marketing emphasis, Diane has the knowledge and background to help guide you through the process of selecting a franchise business that is a perfect match for your skills and abilities.
