As both a franchisor and franchisee with a variety of national companies, Jerry Sullivan’s 15 years experience immediately establishes his credibility as a franchise industry expert. In the mid-70’s Jerry established his operational expertise as a Director with J.K. Gill, a $43 million office, book and gift supply store; while he also owned a retail coffee bar and gift shop.
In the 1980’s, Mr. Sullivan took the leap to franchising as Director of Operations and Training with National Video. A few years later, Mr. Sullivan became President of Turnkey of America, which designed, built-out and supplied turnkey video superstores.
Mr. Sullivan returned to operations as a Director for Figaro’s Pizza, one of the nation’s fastest growing take-and-bake pizza chains. He specialized in real estate selection, restaurant build-out, and product development. Remaining in franchising, Mr. Sullivan moved to haircare as Regional Director of the Great Lakes territory for Great Clips for Hair. He assisted franchisees in opening over 75 units in four years, including site selection & leasing, leasehold improvements, business planning, staffing and marketing. Jerry and his wife, Julie, own eight Great Clips franchises and have a ninth salon opening in the spring of 2007.
