Jim has extensive experience in personnel, operations, sales and sales management, and knows what it takes to make a successful business.
As a young man, Jim began as a courier for a graphics firm and began working his way up the ladder. In three years he had become the manager of the company. He has held every position including press operator, designer, sales representative, sales manager, IT manager and general manager of a multi-store system.
Jim has thirteen years of experience with the Alphagraphics franchise. Their corporate headquarters recognized him as one of the Top Ten Managers within the Alphagraphics system. He has also worked as a manager for four years with The Dial Corp, a Fortune 500 company, where he was awarded top honors for reducing costs and increasing productivity within his division.
Jim has also lived the life of a small business owner. Seeing a diamond in the rough Jim decided to purchase a mature, but unprofitable unit franchise in the graphics industry. Through hard work and implementing the knowledge he gained during his corporate career, Jim was able to turn the store around. During his three years as owner, the store’s sales grew by more than 75% per year and the unit reached record levels of profitability.
