Ken Ross is taking advantage of many years of franchise and general business experience to create a synergistic approach to helping people realize their dreams by owning and running their own business.
Mr. Ross has 22+ years of experience in all phases of franchising. He has spoken on franchising in the US, EU, Asia and South America. He began his tenure with Sir Speedy in 1982 and remained with them for 16 years. During this time, he established the initial field support organization for this system. He was also instrumental in the creation and growth of Copies Now, an alternate franchise offered by Sir Speedy. The majority of his experience was as VP of Global Development. In this position, Mr. Ross directed domestic sales, and international development and support. During his tenure, Sir Speedy acquired two additional brands, PIP and MultiCopy in Europe, with aggregate system count increasing from 300 to over 1200 combined units today. He was also a Board member of MultiCopy, the European subsidiary.
Mr. Ross then went on to be VP, Domestic Sales for Mail Boxes Etc., the worlds largest non-food franchisor with 4000+ units worldwide. At MBE, he established a field based sales force, for both traditional and non-traditional development. Utilizing both a direct and an area franchising model, he lead the team that awarded 204 franchises in his final year. This was followed by PostNet Int'l, where as VP, Global Development, he was once again responsible for franchise development worldwide. After a one and a half year stint in the dot.com world of Silicon Valley doing business development, he has decided to return to his first love - franchising.
Mr. Ross uses his broad experience in franchising and general business development to help others as a Consultant for FranChoice. His goal is to assist others to reach the level of success and independence that owning a business allows.
