Irving grew up in an entrepreneurial family where his entrepreneurial spirit and dreams of owning his own business was founded. However, business ownership did not come until after a very successful career in advertising and marketing. Irving has over 25 years of experience on both the corporate marketing and agency side.
Irving worked at some of the leading global agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, Young & Rubicam, Goodby Silverstein & Partners resulting in award winning work for Coca-Cola, AT&T, HP, etc. with the most notable being the development of the Got Milk? campaign for the California Milk Processing Board
His entrepreneurial interests lead him to work for a global marketing dot com in San Francisco. As the VP of Marketing, Irving launched and grew the company leading to a very successful IPO. While the burst of the dot com bubble ended that chapter, his success in business continued upwards into senior leadership as CMO as well as other positions in various small to large companies.
Over the last several years, Irving achieved his vision of entering the world of entrepreneurship and business ownership. He transitioned his vast experiences into a marketing consultancy where he advises and helps small to medium sized businesses to grow. Irving also entering the franchise world as a franchisee for CycleBar, a boutique fitness franchise offering premium indoor cycling.
Irving joined FranChoice because he has a passion for launching new businesses and sharing his experiences to help people achieve their goals and dream of business ownership. As a franchisee, he‘s in a unique position to assist candidates based on his firsthand experience and successful transition from corporate employee to business owner. Irving consults with his candidates through a detailed investigative process that enables him to understand their business interests, personal goals, experience, skills, and other important attributes to guide them to find the perfectly matched franchise. More importantly he takes the time to help candidates fully understand the emotional demands, risks, and mental transition candidates need to go through to switch from working for others to owning their future to achieve their dreams.
