Beginning nearly 30 years ago, Marc started a business as an Owner/Partner of a boat brokerage – Lighthouse Yachts, and learned (the hard way) the ups & downs of independent business ownership. He “sold” that business (gave it away) to become an early adopter as an Owner/Partner in a retail Franchise system from Australia called Cash Converters – a 4000sq ft new and used goods buy & sell shop. With success, he also went on to run their corporate store chain and became VP of Franchise Business Development.

In 2001, Marc entered the world of business coaching as a VP of Development and in 2004 was one of the initial group of executives that started FocalPoint Coaching in Las Vegas, Nevada. As an initial builder, Marc had his hands in every piece of the puzzle as the franchise took hold in the United States – he was an executive in development, training and support, as well as a key contributor to the strategic direction of the company.

By 2008, Marc became the President and Master Franchisee for all of Canada for FocalPoint as well as continuing to advise with FocalPoint International USA. He continued in that role until becoming a consultant with FranChoice.
