As the owner of six franchises, Dave understands the challenges and rewards of choosing the franchise life. He a multi-unit owner of Salons by JC franchises: four in the Nashville, TN, area; one in Huntsville, AL; and one in Sarasota, FL.

Raised in a family of successful entrepreneurs, Dave worked for more than 20 years as a marketing executive for Ford and Mazda, where he led the “Zoom-Zoom” and “Ford: Powered by You” rebrands. Looking for a more sustainable lifestyle and greater professional freedom, he made the switch to small-business leadership and franchising in 2011.

Choosing the franchise life is a weighty decision, but Dave approaches it with a calm, rational perspective. He both understands the differences between corporate and franchise work and knows how to translate his deep growth and operational experience into a successful path forward for franchisees.

Dave lives with his wife Lauri in Nashville, Tennessee and can be found on the coast of Maine during the summer months. His son Hank is an attorney residing in New Orleans, Louisiana and his daughter Annabel is an Interior Architect residing in Boulder, Colorado.
