For as long as Matt can remember he has always had two passions professionally…. helping others and building businesses. At the age of 13, his father helped him start his first business mowing lawns for local families/businesses and running a fireworks stand during the summer to help pay for college. In college, Matt got his first taste of direct sales running his own small business selling educational books door to door in Rochester, NY for the Southwestern company.

In 2010 he partnered with Farmers Insurance as an independent contractor to select, train, and coach individuals looking to become entrepreneurs in the insurance space. He has consistently been a top-performing business coach and has helped over 80 individuals build insurance agencies in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Kansas City, and St. Louis markets. He successfully exited that business in 2024.

In 2021 Matt joined Pool Scouts as a franchisee and learned the ins and outs of the franchise space. His franchise was one of the fastest-growing new franchises within the brand and performed at a high level until his exit in 2023.

Today, Matt uses his vast entrepreneurial experience to run a franchise consulting service, helping individuals find the right franchise fit as they pursue franchise ownership. He guides each candidate through a detailed process that helps them find the business of their dreams, by evaluating their motivations, goals, interests, and background.
